NOELIA MONCADA

Vocalist

Singer, actress, voice professor, producer and ventriloquist, Noelia Moncada is considered to be one of the most distinguished performers of her generation. Her voice balances technique and expressivity, warmth and emotion. Recently at the Teatro Colón de Buenos Aires she took the lead role in María de Buenos Aires, the operetta by Astor Piazzolla and Horacio Ferrer for the closing night of the Buenos Aires Tango Festival, along with the Orquesta de la Fundación Piazzolla directed by Julián Vat. 

She has shared the stage with great artists such as Horacio Ferrer, Raúl Garello, Leopoldo Federico, Néstor Marconi, Juanjo Domínguez, Julio Pane, Julio Bocca and Daniel Rabinovich, among others.

PABLO FRAGUELA

Pianist

A pianist, composer, arranger and teacher, Pablo Fraguela was born in Buenos Aires, where he began his musical studies at the age of nine.  He studied piano with Graciela Rassini and Rebeca Meryn, and with Lilián Saba, developed a specialty in playing folkloric music, studying at the Escuela de Música Popular in Avellaneda.

Since 1997, he has been part of the folkloric group, “María y Cosecha,” which won first prize in the Instrumental Group category at Festival Pre Cosquín 1999, among other awards.  The group’s CDs include: “Miradas” (1999), “Esencia” (2005), “Otra vuelta” (2010), “Umbral” (2013) y “Agosto” (2018).

He is also the pianist, arranger and director of the tango quintet, “La Grela,” which, since 2001, has been performing in diverse venues around Buenos Aires, in tango festivals, and in various tours outside Argentina.  CDs released by La Grela include: “La reina del festín” (2014) y “Superclásicos” (2017).

Pablo maintains a very full teaching schedule, including teaching in conservatories and university music departments.  He has participated in diverse recording projects as a pianist, arranger and musical director.  He also performs as a soloist with a repertoire largely made of Argentine music, and his own compositions.

INES MUZZOPAPPA

Dancer

Inés Muzzopappa is a Tango Argentino dancer and instructor. She started her path in tango when she was 14 years. In 2007, she won first prize in the World Tango Championship along with Dante Sanchez.  In that moment, she decided to became a professional tango dancer.


From then on, she started to teach and dance all over the world at the most renowned Tango Festivals and Tango events.


Inés and Corina have been teaching and performing together sporadically since 2015. Every time they organized something together, the encounter was powerful and enriching. So it was that in 2019, they decided it was a good idea to formalize their project as dance partners. Since then, they have performed and taught in Argentina, and Europe, and have participated in movies and videos.

 

Nowadays, because of pandemic, they are teaching online and performing in beautiful online events like Tango en La Terraza <3

CORINA HERRERA

Dancer

Corina Herrera is a young tango dancer and teacher with a long trajectory. She started dancing tango at 9 years old. Since she was a teen, tango has been her profession.

 

In the present, she is invited to different events around the world to teach and make performances  in both roles of tango.
