Dancer & Organizer

Meredith Klein has been dancing tango for 22 years, including three years spent living in Buenos Aires.  She runs the Philadelphia Argentine Tango School (PATS), Philly Tango Festival, Fishtown Salon Concert Series, and Milonga Tours (tango tours to Buenos Aires).  Over the past three years, PATS has become one of the most prolific presenters of live tango music in the United States.

Since suspending in-person activities at the Philadelphia Argentine Tango School due to Covid in March 2020, Meredith has developed an extensive virtual program, including classes, workshops, lectures, concerts, and the Virtual Tango Festival (May 2020).  The "Tango en la Terraza" series grew organically out of those efforts.
